"Office staff (Deva) is incompetent and State Farm is scamming. Dealing with Nate Cocco's State Farm is a confused mess/ fiasco where no one knows what is going on. I paid for my auto policy, due in early/mid April, in March. A couple of weeks later I get a call from Deva stating I need to sign something and she would send it through the mail for me to sign. Mind you, I have been a policy holder at state farm for years and have never had this issue of having to sign something in this manner. It comes in about a week later; however, the documentation isn't mine and I disregard it thinking there has been a mistake. A few weeks go by, now less than 5-days from my due date, I get an email stating I owe $185; confused I call the office and talk to Colby. He states that because I didn't sign the documentation, that didn't even have my name on it, that State Farm wanted me to pay the $185. He proposed an alternative to have me E-sign the document to get the charge to remove and it may take 24-hours for it be removed. I E-sign immediately, while still on the phone. Wait 72-hours and charge still hasn't been removed. I call and talk to Colby again; he calls billing and the charge is eventually removed around 24-hours later. Now, weeks go by, past the initial due date/ policy effective date, and I get another letter saying I owe $118. I call up Nate Cocco's office again and talk to Colby; he doesn't know where the charge comes from and forwards me to Deva. After Deva calls up the policy department she states that someone made a change to my policy, these changes being unknown to me, and I would have to pay the $118. My question to her was, "can someone, without my consent, call the front office and change my policy without me knowing." Her reply was yes, which is insane to me. In no way should any one ever be able to call and make changes to my policy, without my consent or knowledge, which causes me to pay more, after I already paid my policy and it being past my policy's effective date. I guarantee, if I made a change to the policy, which would cause my rate to lower in a similar manner, State Farm would not issue me a refund. Anyways, I got a quote from Progressive and it was $100 cheaper. As an alternative of having to deal with the confusing mess/fiasco that is Nate Cocco's State Farm, I suggest getting a quote from Progressive. I will be editing this response further to any replies from the Nate Cocco team that try to twist the narrative btw."
